CURRENT ACCOUNTS

Account opening

Any person of legal age with regular monthly income based on employment or retirement is entitled to open a current account.
To open a current account, in addition to the identity card or other identification document, the employed clients must submit employer’s certificate on regular salary transfer to the current account opened with the Bank whereas retired clients should present a pension decision or pension checque.
The client has an option to authorize, by special authorisation, any other private individual to dispose of the funds held in the current account with the Bank.
 

Funds disposal
 

The client may dispose of the funds in the current account as follows:

  1. Cash witdrawal at the Bank counters;
  2. Payment for goods and services and cash withdrawal by Maestro Card;
  3. Use of personal cheques for goods and services payments;
  4. Payments and transfers in domestic payment operations by E-banking service - TOKEN device;

The client may obtain information about the account balance through monthly current account statement, via SMS service or TOKEN device, as well as by personal enquiry at the Bank counters.

 

Current account overdraft use

Upon the request of the client, the Bank may grant a current account overdraft up to the amount of average salary or pension over the past three months. Overdraft shall be approved under the following conditions:

  1. Regular monthly payment of salary or pension;
  2. Signed authorisation for obtaining the Credit Bureaue report;
  3. Overdraft is granted for the period of 12 months under the obligation to settle any outstanding debt on the overdraft expiry date;

The Bank may terminate granted overdraft prior to the expiry of the overdraft contract in case no regular monthly funds payment has been credited to the client’s account or if the client uses the funds in excess of the approved overdraft limit, as well as due to the change in the legal regulations.
